Introduction

Welcome to InstaJudge. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the InstaJudge platform and services available at instajudge.com and any related applications (the "Service").

By accessing or using InstaJudge, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you may not use the Service.

Description of the Service

InstaJudge is a software platform that allows users to create and manage judging or voting events. The platform enables organizers to:

• Create events
• Add entries or contestants
• Invite judges or voters
• Collect scores or votes
• View results and analytics

InstaJudge acts solely as a technical platform for collecting and displaying votes or scores submitted by users. We do not control, validate, or guarantee the accuracy of votes or results submitted through the platform.

Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account access
• Be responsible for all activity occurring under your account

Access to accounts is secured through email-based one-time verification codes rather than passwords. You are responsible for maintaining access to your email account.

Organizer Responsibilities

Event organizers are solely responsible for the content and configuration of events created on the platform, including:

• Entries or contestants
• Judges or voters invited
• Scoring criteria
• Event rules and eligibility requirements

Organizers are also responsible for ensuring they have the legal right to collect and process any personal data they upload to the platform (such as judge names or email addresses). InstaJudge acts as a data processor for such event-related information.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Attempt to manipulate voting results through automated or fraudulent means
• Disrupt, damage, or interfere with the platform's operation
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

Voting Integrity

InstaJudge provides technical mechanisms to collect votes and scores, but we do not guarantee that all votes are free from manipulation or external influence. Event organizers are responsible for determining how results should be interpreted and validated. InstaJudge is not responsible for disputes arising from competition outcomes.

Payments

Some features of InstaJudge require payment. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's payment processing terms. All purchases are associated with the event or vote package selected at the time of payment. Unless otherwise stated, payments are non-refundable once the purchased vote capacity has been activated for an event.

Service Availability

We strive to maintain reliable service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, infrastructure failures, security updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for losses resulting from temporary service interruptions.

Intellectual Property

All software, design, branding, and content of the InstaJudge platform are the intellectual property of SciGen Technologies S.A. You may not reproduce, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service without permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, InstaJudge and SciGen Technologies S.A. shall not be liable for:

• Competition disputes
• Loss of data caused by user actions
• Event outcome disagreements
• Indirect or consequential damages

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount paid by you to use the Service during the preceding 12 months.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the platform. Users may stop using the Service at any time. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us at hello@scigentech.com.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece and applicable European Union regulations. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Greece.
